I was lucky enough to be at Whole Foods during their 40% off sale of all Mineral Fusion make up! I’ve already tried out their mascara, a bronzer, a BB cream and one color of their nail polishes. I actually love using the bronzer as an every day eyeshadow. I place it in my crease to create some natural definition.
I picked up two blushes in the colors “airy” and “harmony”. The formula is very pigmented and applies smooth and easily to your cheeks. The blushes are made with pomegranate, white tea, sea kelp, plus contains vitamins C and E. They’re free of parabens, artificial colors, fragrances, talc, gluten, are hypo-allergenic and never tested on animals.
I was first attracted to Harmony because it’s a pretty coral color with a slight gold shimmer. It immediately reminded me of Benefit’s CORALista blush, which is great because I’ve been looking for a cleaner and greener version of it for a very long time. The gold shimmer acts like a high light, so you could easily use this one product instead of a separate high light and blush deal. A little goes a long way, so don’t pack on too much at one time. You can gradually layer more to create a more dramatic effect.
Airy is a more muted, rosy pink color. This color also has a really natural shimmer, but it’s not overpowering and there are not actual glitter pieces in the blush. Airy reminds me of Tarte Amazonian clay blush in “blushing bride”.
Have you tried any Mineral Fusion products?
