Making homemade vegan ice cream is incredibly easy and delicious! You only need one ingredient: frozen bananas! Any other additional flavors are up to you. I made two different flavors to show just how easy it is!
What you’ll need:
Strawberry Ice Cream
2 frozen bananas – (cut up and freeze over night, or cut up and freeze at least 4 hours before you want to eat the ice cream)
5 frozen strawberries
Blend together the frozen bananas and the frozen strawberries until you get a creamy consistency. I topped mine with some sprinkles and vegan chocolate sauce. I added a gluten-free cone and filled it as the ice cream started to melt! Yummmmy!
Acai Blueberry Ice Cream
2 frozen bananas
1 packet of frozen Sambazon Acai
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
Blend together the frozen bananas, the packet of acai and the frozen blueberries until the consistency is creamy and there are no more chunks of acai. I topped mine with some raw cashew, fresh raspberries and vegan chocolate sauce.
I love making this because it’s really filling from the bananas, helps fill any sugar cravings that I have, and helps me use any overripe bananas in our kitchen.
