Apollo is getting so big! I can’t believe he’s almost 9 months old. I know I say this every month, but time is going by so fast and he’s getting older so much faster than Luna did as a baby.
He’s a very curious little boy. He’s constantly trying to get into everything around the house, grabbing at anything within reach and trying to knock things over and out of my hands. His newest trick is trying to jump off the couch and our bed to grab at toys or other objects that spark his interest.
He finally got his two bottom front teeth. One started coming in a few weeks ago, and then over night a second one starting coming in! He has only tried to bite me one time and I screamed in pain, so I think he knows that it isn’t nice to bite.
He has mastered the army crawl and roll to get around. He zips around by either rolling really fast or a combination of army crawling and then rolling to his destination. It’s impressive how fast he moves, but also terrifying. If I look away for a second he’s across the room and trying to get into my purse or Fred’s guitar pedals. He also has a huge fascination with Luna’s room and he must know that it’s off-limits, because he’s constantly trying to get in even when her door is closed. It’s been nearly impossibly to get any pictures of him that aren’t blurry because he rolls away the second I snap the camera!
He’s a great eater and will now eat a whole jar or squeeze pack of baby food in one sitting, along with a bottle of breast milk. He’s even had all of that, and then I’ll come home from work shortly after and he’ll want to nurse!
He has started dancing to music. It’s seriously the funniest and cutest little dance. He seems to really enjoy anything with a strong beat and he’ll rock back and forth and shake his little butt.
He still talks a ton, screams a lot, and laughs at everything. He’s generally really happy and seems to have a great sense of humor already.
I’ll be curious to see when he starts walking. I know he will love chasing Luna around!
