Yesterday was my birthday! I feel older, but happier and more excited than ever about all of the things to come in the future. My kids are healthy and happy and I’m in a happy and supportive marriage, so there’s nothing to complain about. Fred bought me a new tripod and a light box for my birthday, which are absolutely perfect. I’m glad that he supports me in my weird adventures and will help me grow my blog. It’s the best feeling in the world. He had a cake made for me that is vegan, gluten-free and peanut butter and chocolate flavored with peanut butter cups throughout the cake (HOLY AMAZING LIFE). I mean, it the best sugary deliciousness ever. I am trying really hard not to eat it for breakfast.
I’m going to make a pit-stop in Thanksgiving recipe ideas to show a raw, vegan blueberry cake that I whipped up. You can change out the blueberries for whatever fruit you want or have available in season where you live!
I think you can easily make this for Thanksgiving if you swap out the blueberries for pumpkin or sweet potato puree!
