Hey there! I’m Molly and thanks for checking out my blog. I originally started blogging to document the last stages of my second pregnancy with Apollo, and also to write about my daily life with my daughter, Luna, and my husband Frederick. It evolved over time to include other things that I really love, like recipes, product reviews, and general life advice.
The majority of the recipes on this site are vegan and gluten-free, and those that are not will be noted. While I am not a vegan, I have been a vegetarian for over 10 years, and I eat a primarily plant-based diet. I will occasionally eat free-range, organic eggs from local farms, as well as some organic cheese that contains only vegetarian rennet. I believe in the idea that your dollar is your vote, and I only buy organic produce and try to limit the amount of processed food that I eat. The organic movement doesn’t just benefit you and me, but the farmers that would otherwise be surrounded by chemical pesticides and herbicides every day, and beautiful mother-nature and everything that calls it home. You can create a difference with every decision that you make.
I also believe in using cruelty-free products for my body, including skin care, supplements, and beauty products. The ingredients that you put on your body are just as important as the foods that you eat. While I’m not blogging or hanging out with my kids, I work full-time as the general manager for a family owned, environmentally conscious grocery store.
